Parallel Compressor Systems

Are you frustrated by being offered an off-the-rack compromise when you need a tailor-made solution?

Our Parallel Compressor Systems consist of multiple compressors that work together to satisfy large refrigeration loads. Instead of using one very large compressor, multiple smaller compressors are piped in parallel to provide the same capacity as the large compressor while providing flexible capacity control that a large compressor can’t provide.

Sample Builds

53 HP Horizontal Link

  • 53HP horizontal, 8 scroll compressors (2 low temp, using liquid and vapour injection for cooling)
  • Electrical panels on each end, one housing a CPC controller
  • Section of the roof can be removed to access the oil separator filter

42 HP Vertical Link

  • 42HP vertical, 6 scroll compressors with coalescent oil separator
  • Refrigerating 23 supermarket cases and walk in coolers
  • CPC controller for compressor system and evaporator monitoring and defrosting

78HP LINK+ With 7 Large Scrolls

  • 78HP with 7 scroll compressors , 4 low temp and 3 medium temp.
  • Coalescent oil separator and oil reservoir, managing oil return for all compressors
  • Compressors, oil separators and valves conveniently situated for servicing and maintenance
  • Compressors easily be removed by direct access through the doors

LINK+ 2X4 Fan Condense

  • 2 X 4 air cooled condenser
  • Supports any of our air cooled condenser line
  • Condensers with multiple options:
    • horizontal receiver, adjustable flooded head pressure control,
    • fan cycling, variable speed motor lead fan,
    • coil coating, relay board, extended leg kit… many more

60HP L Shaped Rack

  • 60HP with 4 large scroll compressors, 15 branch circuits, 11 CDS valves and a CPC controller
  • Challenging INSTALL:
    • Customer requested rack be designed to fit in a corner of building
    • Built on an L-shaped frame to be placed in a corner while allowing access to all of the components from the front
    • All filters and ball valves positioned within arm’s reach for easy maintenance

72HP Rack

  • 72HP, using 4 Bitzer semi-hermetic compressors, 11 hot gas branch circuits with CDS valves
  • Challenging INSTALL:
    • Small footprint and against a wall
    • Custom designed and built so that all its components fit in the required space
    • BUT remain accessible for servicing and maintenance
    • Cuction filters and liquid drier accessible from front and
    • All branch circuits accessible from top

Subcooled Mini Rack

  • 53HP with 6 scroll compressor servicing medium and low temp suction groups
  • 12 hot gas and off time branch circuits with Danfoss EEPRs valves
  • Uses mechanical subcooling to sub cool the liquid to 50°F
  • Liquid line insulated to maintain the temperature of subcooled liquid required by the evaporators
  • Field connected to an air-cooled condenser with an integral receiver

Extended Profile Mini Rack

  • 25HP with 6 scroll compressor servicing medium and low temp suction groups
  • Uses CPC controller, breakers and contactors for controlling the connected evaporators
  • Extended profile to house a 93” long horizontal receiver and two electrical panels, accommodating all contactors and control boards for compressors and evaporators

Tree With Receiver Mounted

  • 10 3/4” X 72” horizontal receiver
  • 9 off-time branch circuits
  • Liquid lines have sight glasses and all suction lines are insulated

29 Branch Circuits

  • For 124 HP Rack
  • Medium temp and low temp suction groups
  • 29 hot gas and off time defrost circuits
  • Circuits use EPRs for evaporator pressure control
  • Suction headers are oversized to function as accumulators
